Position: Finishing Machine Operator

Location: Calvert, AL

Pay: $22/hour

Experience: Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts required; manufacturing, mill, or heavy industry experience preferred.

Education: High school diploma or General Educational Development equivalent required.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: 2-3-2 schedule, 7:00 a.m to 7:00 p.m or 6:00 a.m to 6:00 p.m

Clark Personnel is seeking a Finishing Machine Operator to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

1. Operate finishing equipment and machinery in a heavy manufacturing environment.
2. Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials and finished products.
3. Follow detailed production procedures to ensure accurate and consistent output.
4. Document completion of critical production steps and maintain production records.
5. Inspect finished materials to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
6. Follow strict safety procedures and operational guidelines during production.
7. Assist with minor mechanical adjustments or repairs on equipment as needed.

Position Requirements:

1. Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform simple equipment repairs.
2. Ability to understand and follow detailed production procedures.
3. Basic computer skills including data entry and email communication.
4. Strong attention to detail when completing production documentation.
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.
6. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
